I remember snow . . . a long time ago . . . :(

We have 60 pounds of salt, and two shovels at the front door . . . and still, no snow.  Not amused.
Just got in from my second round of plowing. I did about 5" worth after work and just did another 3". It looks like it is really tapering off now, so we should be able to get out on to the road tomorrow morning. :) Thank goodness for the tractor, I'd be out there for hours if I only had just a snowblower! :joyfull:

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
So is that bacon and pulled pork on the fries? o_O
It's "loaded poutine".
Fries, gravy, melted cheese, bacon, sour cream, and onions.

I can only eat a few forkfuls, but oh baby, what a few forkfuls they be. It actually holds up quite well to reheating the next day.

The other items pictured are deep fried pickles, and garlic butter/parmesan wings. I only eat the flatties. Hubby says he prefers the drummies, but I think he's just being accommodating.

We are going out soon for round 2 of shoveling, waiting for a period break in the hockey game.

So does anybody have a High Efficiency Washing Machine? Thoughts?
No, but I have a high efficiency dryer and it works great. Problem is it doesn't dry stuff. Towels have to be run again, heavier clothing has to be run again. Doesn't seem efficient to me. Perhaps high efficiency means that it's still wet so drying while it's hanging in the closet. Saves electricity that way.

Stop, Stop, Stop!!!! I'm drooling all over my keyboard! You're making me want to migrate to Cananada!!!!!! :hilarious:
I didn't pick up on the cheese, but I did notice that they were seasoned fries. I told DW that we need to try and make those! :joyfull:

I've made poutine at home and used the Arby's fries that you can buy at Walmart and those held up to the cheese and gravy really well. And of course I used fresh Wisconsin cheese curds.

We're not having that issue with ours. I wonder if your vent is partially clogged and the back lash is causing the electronics to cut down on the temperature so it's not drying stuff all the way. DW even dries horse blankets in ours and they do dry all the way!
