A winter storm is on the way, so our school closed in anticipation of it. So no work for me today. I'm actually surprised we closed as the snow isn't supposed to start until 11-noon. We could have done a half-day....oh well more time to snuggle with the dog.

Oh the weather outside is frightful.... The snow started 6 hours later than the initial predictions, but it is really coming down...

Our snow started about an hour ago, and is coming down heavy too. It looks pretty.

Our outside stuff is still up. I don't miss the inside stuff. Here was my view about an hour ago (it is taken through the window and screen), I'm watching Frozen today. Second Disney movie of the day, maybe it should be a marathon.

That is a church next door. It isn't hubby's church, years ago our congregation owned that church but grew to big for it. So they built a new one and sold the one next to our house (the parsonage) to the Baptists.

@JenniferS here are some of our snow covered Christmas decorations. Can't light them up now, hubby took up the extension cords because they finally weren't covered in snow.

2) I'm not hauling to Brooklyn for a bagel.
3) ALL the bagel places have green ones for St. Patrick's day and I won't eat those either.

We have 60 pounds of salt, and two shovels at the front door . . . and still, no snow.
