Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Donnie and Marie and Barry Manilow were some of my least favorite people in the 70s.

I LOVE Barry Manilow.

I'm a Fanilow.

I listened a little in the early 2000's, for maybe 10 minutes after I had dropped the boys off at school each day. Hubby was the bigger fan, by far.

It was his show that I was listening to, when Robin (I think) interrupted him to say that it appeared a second plane had crashed into the WTC.
I immediately switched to an all news channel.

Stern stayed on terrestrial radio for another four years, but I have no recollection of ever listening to him again after 9/11/01.

I was listening that morning on the way into work but was at work when the planes hit. My friend was on his staff and sometimes on the radio - she also told me what went on behind the scenes which was cool. When I left work and turned on the car he was doing real radio - really well - it was somewhat comforting in the chaos to hear a familiar voice understand that there are times you don't joke. I gained a lot of respect for him that day.

My first concert ever: Jack Wagner.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
His genius is more the songs he wrote and less the songs he sang.
I'm good with it all - his writing and singing. :)

His voice certainly isn't what it used to be, but in '93, it was still pretty strong and clear.

It's Rod Stewart, in my opinion, who should stop singing. Ugh! I'd say nails on chalkboard, but nails on chalkboard don't actually bother me.
