Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

That is one stark theater. I'm used to more colorful decor.
It's an IMAX, if that makes a difference.
This is an out of town theatre that I seldom visit, so I can't recall what the regular non-IMAX rooms look like.

The last time I was here was in April/May 2012 to see Titanic 3-D (again), but not in IMAX.

Once the lights go down, I don't notice anything but the screen ... and the popcorn, which tends to land more on the floor than in my mouth.

Told you - I got up early today. I'm on my A-game!

Did we go somewhere nice for lunch? No Sir. Right next door to Denninger's is a Harvey's. Hubby had been yearning for some Harvey's for a while. Once we got out of the car and he got one whiff, I knew I was doomed. So, here we are.

And for @catmom46 - I ate the whole burger, two deep fried pickles and drank half the shake.
Hubby had his burger, all the fries, all the onion rings, half of the pickles, 2 sodas, and the last of the shake.
I seldom eat fast food fries. They're just not worth the calories.

Now to go fetch my ham.

That looks devilishly good.

Where is the orange tray?

A friend and I went to see the Rangers play the Mapleleafs in Toronto in the early 90s. We got popcorn and were on the edge of our seats watching the game. It was a hilariously awkward moment when we realized that most of her popcorn had landed in the hood of the sweatshirt of the person sitting in front of her.

That burger looks absolutely HUGE.

Oh, thank you! :) Yes, I did have a great Christmas and New Year's--it was two, back-to-back, 4-day "whirlwind" weekends of bliss, and lots of over-indulgence in delicious food!! (I'm up almost 4 pounds on the scale from the past month. Oops . . . :cautious: )

I hope you and your family also had happy holiday celebrations too, and best wishes for 2016..

I also want to say how great it is to see you here.

Just out of curiosity, are the EXIT signs bilingual also?
I'm not sure. I would have automatically said "yes", but now I think "no". If it were a gov't office (of any level), an airport, or parts of Ontario or NB that abut Quebec, it's an automatic.

Bilingual labelling, packaging, and signage is so prevalent that one never takes notice.

If the signs were in French though, they would read "Sortie".

I ate at Harvey's a couple times when I was in Ottawa. I always went to the one on Elgin. The same one that Jean Chretien and Rick Mercer went to.

Oh my gosh, that was wonderful!
Outside of his role as PM, I love Chrétien the man. Who needs the Secret Service when you have the Shawinigan Shake?

"The proof is the proof, and when you have a proof it is because it is proven" - or something like that.

And I love that our PM's, both current and former, can literally walk around town, largely unharassed, and order a burger. 5 1/2 weeks after triple bypass.

If you've not lived in Canada, (or gone to school here, @Eric1955), you can't even begin to understand us. Canadians are not Americans. Not even a little.
