Hubby and I have to go to Costco on Monday. We'll probably grab some lunch and then hit an afternoon showing at the Ancaster theatre that offers options that our local 8-plex does not ... the first of which is afternoon showings. :p

Okay friends - which one?
IMAX 3D or D-BOX 3D?

And what the heck is D-BOX anyway?

ETA - Okay, D-BOX "moves". At $22.99/person, that's a big NO!

So, IMAX it will be. Can't tell if it's a true 70mm IMAX or digital. Either way, it's an experience we can't get here.

Are there seats available? It looked greyed (grayed?) out. D-box sounds awesome.

Sad day today. The last day of the NFL regular season. For those teams who don't make it into next week and beyond, my sympathies. For those that do, I hope you lose to the Packers. May we find peace no matter the outcome.

Sorry, I screen shot Saturday's menu, after the theatre had actually closed. Everything seems available for Monday afternoon.

All the kiddies are back to school Monday, and everyone else is back to work, so we're not expecting a packed theatre.

I forgot to mention that regular 3D is also an option. Isn't it lovely having so many choices?!

The only downside ... no Coke Zero/Cherry Coke cocktail available at the concession stand.

You can always sneak in a small bottle of cherry juice to spike your drink with.

When I left the Imax after watching TFA I was amazed at the miniatures littering the floor. It wasn't a LOT, but it was more than a couple.

I saw Star Wars again. This time in IMAX. The aerial fights are great on the bigger screen with the 3D. 3D does irritate my eyes after a while though so I had to take the glasses off during some of the quiet scenes. 10 minute 3D shows don't bother me, but 2 hours plus previews does it.

Plus no one told me that you got a poster when you see it in IMAX!

Sold! IMAX it is!

(Posters probably only available in the 48 Continental States, I'll bet.)
