Saves money on traffic lights. Actually I like roundabouts far better then regular intersections. In the Raleigh area there is a multitude of stop lights about every 100 ft. Since the traffic is quite heavy, many of the lights stay red or green for 2.5 minutes each. That includes straight ahead travel, left hand turns at each light (separate). You can spend up to 10 minutes at each intersection, but, when you do get a green it doesn't matter where you are in line, you will make it through.

On the traffic episode of MythBusters they found that roundabouts are 20% more efficient. That's a significant difference. It makes me wonder why we don't utilize them more.

No, but one of ours is placed along an intersection between the middle and high school in town (they're about three blocks apart), and it has really helped traffic flow in a spot where there wasn't even a stop sign. Each school morning/afternoon a police officer had to be out directing traffic.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I'm a sucker for MK. Main Street alone does it for me. Although Epcot is number 2 for me...for now.
MK has Pirates, Splash, Space Mountain, CoP, Haunted Mansion, TTA Peoplemover, IASW, Peter Pan, and Winnie the Pooh ... Anchors Aweigh sandwiches, Dole Whip floats, BoG for lunch, ... MS USA, fountains and soft artificial turf, beautiful castle lights ... fireworks, parades, and most importantly nostalgic memories.

And Pirates and Splash and Space. Did I mention them?

We have been telling the kid we are going to Walt Disney world. We explained it's like Disneyland but bigger and she is starting to get it. Now half the time when I pick her up from school she says to me "we going to Disney world?" I say soon. She says to see Peter Pan? And Captain Hook and the crocodile? I say yes. Then she says "and Wendy?" "Yep" "annnd Michael?" "Yep" "annnddd how about...John?" "Yep"

And then we move onto the next ride and play the same game.

It's only fun when taking a Newbie.
I always warn them to make sure they get a really tight fit with the restraint system, as it lessens the whiplash once the ride gets spinning.

But, I don't blurt out SW-TFA spoilers. There is a limit to my cruelty.
I tricked my dad into tasting Beverly a couple years ago. He didn't remember it from the first time he tried it.
