My niece got a Mercades last year.
I remember when my nephew was 4 and he got a jeep for his birthday. He is still friends with the kid that was over when he got it. Those cars rock.

So...you got your kid a hybrid car? fancy
We did it once. The Christmas - New Year's week of 1993 going into 1994. NEVER again! I don't care what the folks say who tolerate crowds like that....no way, no how, ever ever ever again! You could not pay me enough to be there during New Year's.
Yeah. A little one seater so she's on her own as far as learning to drive.
You mean it wasn't magical? We did it once. The Christmas - New Year's week of 1993 going into 1994. NEVER again! I don't care what the folks say who tolerate crowds like that....no way, no how, ever ever ever again!
parallel parking takes a while though...It's amazing how quickly they master the 3 point turn.
It a dying art anyway...I think they even dropped it from the Drivers License exam here. (That's what I have heard...I'm not positive) Very few parallel parking spaces around here though.parallel parking takes a while though...
If waiting 2+ hours for Kitchen Kabaret isn't magical, I don't know what is.You mean it wasn't magical?
I told you about my hometown - no traffic lights, no sidewalks, no curbs. Yet I had to learn to parallel park.

Let's ask @JenniferS as I'm sure that was part of Titanic. Why am I getting the image of Napoleon dynamite?
And if you have a spare 15 minutes:
pretty much. We lived on a main road, so at least it was paved. Lots of roads in town were not, some still are not.No curbs? The street just kind of segued into the pastures?
There was only one car in Titanic. The "parking" that occurred in the movie, did not involve curbs, parallels, or Napolean Dynamite. And no one voted for Pedro.Let's ask @JenniferS as I'm sure that was part of Titanic.
Saves money on traffic lights. Actually I like roundabouts far better then regular intersections. In the Raleigh area there is a multitude of stop lights about every 100 ft. Since the traffic is quite heavy, many of the lights stay red or green for 2.5 minutes each. That includes straight ahead travel, left hand turns at each light (separate). You can spend up to 10 minutes at each intersection, but, when you do get a green it doesn't matter where you are in line, you will make it through. Two roundabouts? Fancy! And very European.
