When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
The ghosts have surrounded the perimeter! The outside security cams are picking up a lot of activity!

Not only has AC heroically saved us all with his page rollover post...but because of his deeds, he will forever be employable at a certain highly-esteemed company.

On that note, we are actually going to go to the local haunted house right now since we ran out of time last weekend and they extended it a weekend due to the massive crowds. So with my newfound exorcism abilities I should get through just fine.

Unless there are clowns. Then I'm screwed.

Be safe out there, friend. If anything, ghosts have a good memory. They will not have forgotten your heroics that took place in this thread tonight.

The clowns weren't the problem. The chainsaws were. So many chainsaws... and we were the only 2 in our group.

My instructions tonight at work were to do freight. Guess what didn't get done? Freight. My first hour was spent in layaway. The next 1.5 to 2 hours was spent on a register. Then I did a bunch of random things like get carts from outside, move a water pallet, help at service desk, online orders, more layaways, take calls, etc. Then I finally took a break. Then afterwards I pulled ad a little bit, and then a former coworker came in and we talked a bit, then I took my meal. Then after that I covered a break a service desk, followed by covering a break at registers, followed by stalling the last half hour of my shift because I wasn't going to get strays done. And then at 10 I stayed an extra half hour and helped the person in softlines straighten and clean up. A full 9 hour work day where I literally did everything I'm trained to do and more!

I much prefer having a "jack of all trades" shift to a service desk shift, though.
