Nothing says Halloween like little children in flamable costumes ducking embers from said fireworks....Nothing says Halloween like a giant fireworks show.
I saw quite a few ninja turtles tonight as well. Spidey & Batman were popular, and eventually topped the others I think.I wasn't wearing my glasses (of course I wasn't), so I can't say for sure what the costumes were tonight.
I can, however say what they were not.
No - Annas or Elsas.
No - Darth Vaders. I do not know the new characters.
No - Minions. Shockingly.
No - Potters or Hermiones.
I did see two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Was there a 3:00 parade? The next street over from us had fireworks...
I would so choose Hello Kitty!I also had little boxes of stickers for the little kids (as well as candy) so they had to choose between Star Wars, Hello Kitty, and Mickey Mouse. Hello Kitty was the most popular followed closely by Star wars.
I saved you one.I would so choose Hello Kitty!
Yes, but enough about your personal wardrobe. What type of trick-or-treater's did you get tonight?I had one Harry Potter, several ninja turtles, several princesses, but no Frozen characters at all, lots of Star Wars costumes, one Duck Dynasty guy, one Mario, and a lot of "I don't know what this is".

No, due to the impending time change I suppose...Was there a 3:00 parade?

I'm binge reading a new mystery author I recently discovered. I promised myself I wouldn't. In the past three weeks, I have read 8 of her books, and just picked up another 4 from the library today.
But on the flip side of that coin, do not stereotype everybody in the Southeast as fitting that mold.Given the region of the country I live in, we see enough of that on any given day.
@JenniferS and anyone else reading who resides outside of the country. Whatever you do, PLEASE do not let the southeastern U.S. define what Americans are truly like. This great nation can do sooo much better.
