I'm just catching up on what I missed being away yesterday. I always go through all the posts I've missed before I post.

Not much really going on with me. Spent yesterday shopping. Today I went to church and then went to the movies to see Crimson Peak.

It was ok. The film was visually amazing, but the story could have been better.

Apparently he wanted to make a more modern version of the classic ghost story movie, rather than something more original and creative.

Have you been watching The Strain? I've only seen a few episodes, but I liked them and eventually would like to watch the series.

From what I can tell, it's basically another vampire story, but I like the writing and special effects.

I just googled The Strain and watched a trailer. It actually looks interesting. I'll have to try watching it sometime.

You are correct; I've never seen Goodfellas.
I did, however, listen to The Wedding Singer today - my favourite Adam Sandler movie.
Roger Ebert gave it 1/4. He didn't seem to care for it.

I liked Wedding Singer. Have you seen 50 First Dates? That one was cute, too.

I love a good horror or ghost movie. I just don't like anything too gory. I like to be scared not grossed out.

Me, too. That's why I love Halloween and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Both of them weren't very gory, but absolutely terrifying!

I have not.

The boys have it on disc and probably watched it dozens of times - back before they had laptops, but did have those portable DVD players.

The trailer for Krampus played before Crimson Peak. I'm definitely going see this.

Halloween is probably my favorite. I make sure to watch it every year.

Have you seen Devil? The story is by M. Night Shyamalan (who I'm not a huge fan of aside from Sixth Sense), and it's actually pretty creepy.
