Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Hubby put the Pens game in before the Mets game. I'm a hockey fan and all but c'mon man it's the playoffs.
That particular choice would easily be grounds for divorce in at least two states.
I have four FB friends having birthdays today.
Does anyone else feel the burden of having to come up with four separate distinct greetings?

Two were easy - my niece and my dad's best friend.
Two were more difficult - Mike's former assistant, and my dad's best friend's identical twin brother.
Keep your life simple... Happy Birthday (name)! covers it completely. Those type of wishes do not require any mental diarrhea.
I don't watch commercials. :)
Unless it contains an iceberg!
But, but, but - I watched Ocean's Eleven yesterday.

(Well, watched is a bit of a stretch. Hubby watched it, while I was in the same room.)
Best movie ever. I have watched almost as much as you seem to obsess over Titanic. It never fails to surprise me that I always am wondering how it will end this time. (Didn't care for 12, 13 and so on. guess I don't care much for sequels**) Did anyone notice besides me that Brad Pitt is eating something in almost every casual scene. I lost respect for him when he broke up with Jennifer (not S) and went for that high mileage piece of garbage.
Yes, I know that Oceans Eleven is basically a sequel to the original, but, I don't care.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

Hubby mentioned the exact same thing about Rusty eating in every scene.
I'd say "great minds" and all that, but ....

Well my lucky pajamas turned out to be lucky but today I'm going to test the powers of my Mets zip up hoodie. It's velour, so I've never been able to wear it during baseball since I've had it for at least 5 years but it's super heavy and it's never been that cold during baseball season.

Well folks, I'm off to change the bird's cage and watch some football so - as they say in Dazed & Confused - check ya later!

Decided to get some Cafe Du Monde this morning. I got an order of beignets and a frozen Cafe Au Lait. So good! :hungry:

I just went to one in the mall. I haven't been in the city in a while. I think it's about time to go back.

That looks amazing. What a great way to start the day. My favourite thing about going to Quebec is that they serve this Parisian hot chocolate with breakfast in the morning that is rich and delicious. I have never had a frozen cafe au lait though so I can't say which would be better. Perhaps I'll just have both!

While not an epic fail, I put in too many egg noodles. Once they were done, there sure wasn't a whole lot of broth left.

Ski however, has already had two gigantic bowls of it, so I'm sure it will all be gone by tonight.

I have actually taken to cooking the pasta separately and adding it in at the end. I know it turns what should be a one-pot meal into a two-pot meal but I didn't want to waste the delicious broth. I haven't noticed any difference in terms of taste of the noodles. Of course, the leftovers sit in the same spot but saves some broth at least for the first sitting.

You are very kind. I typically ignore the FB birthday notifications...but I don't use it every day. I only bother with the people that I would ordinarily go out of my way to wish a happy birthday to.
