Crush a Can Day? :hilarious: They were really digging deep to come up with that one!

Why not Stomp on Milk Carton Day? or Wad Up Newspaper Day ?
NATIONAL CRUSH A CAN DAY

National Crush A Can Day is observed annually on September 27. This day was created to help educate people about the benefits of recycling.
Interesting Facts:

  • In America, 105,800 cans are recycled every minute.
  • Your television can run for 3 hours from the energy saved by recycling one can.
  • Aluminum cans are worth about a penny each.
  • The industry pays more than $1 billion annually for recycled cans.

We're getting pumpkin ice cream in a bit to go with the pumpkin spice kcups, pumpkin soup, and pumpkin beer we already have in the house.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
If it had been my car battery that died on Labour Day, my car would have been at Nissan by 9:00 am the next day for a new one.
Hubby's Buick, however, is another story.

After we boosted it at his brother's place and got home safely, Mike figured all was well. No problem. Let's forget about it.

And all was well. Until Friday night, when it died at the grocery store. Son #1 had to bring my car to boost us. Hubby started it twice once we got home, and all was fine, until he went to leave for work yesterday.
So technically, I've been carless all weekend.:(

You can darn well bet the Buick is scheduled to go in to Crappy Tire at 9:00 am tomorrow! You know, because I scheduled it.
