100m down the road, our street is blocked with a bunch of ambulances and a fire truck, and maybe a cop or two.
Did I take a walk like a loser to check out what is going down? No sir, I did not.

Son #1 has gone out though, and since I refused to drive him, he is walking. In that direction. He has instructions to text me.

Failing which, I'll call the neighbour. She knows when anyone sneezes or coughs on the street, so she'll know for sure.

I think every street in the world has one of those neighbors.

Well, you can say what you want about my kids, about rotten apples not falling far from their rotten parent trees, or whatever that pontificating load of malarkey was; but we clearly did something right.

Ski and I had to go somewhere today, and he insisted on driving me in his PoC car. In the driveway, he opened my door for me, waited until I was situated, and then closed the door.
He did it again at the mall, where gasp! someone might have actually seen us. And then again at Best Buy.

I've seen him do this for Gen regularly, but he actually likes her.

Oh yeah, he holds doors for people, and never remains seated on a bus/train/monorail while even a single woman is standing. Shocking, eh?!

If it's any consolation, we don't have a Sonic either, and shockingly, only one Starbuckies in a city with a population of almost 100,000.

I was shocked while in Manhattan. I swear, you could stand in one spot, twirl around and spot a half dozen of them.
(Kinda like Timmie's up here, in some cities.)

No Starbucks here, but you can purchase a selection of Starbucks beverages at a place on campus.

I have a Starbucks within a block of both offices. Though a few storefronts away from the Starbucks at my regular office is this new place that makes Starbucks taste like water.
