I love that....I love how certain things just stick. Like.....if I say Benadryll Cabbagepatch, everyone knows EXACTLY who I mean. And we have that with a lot of things....we call Pirates of the Caribbean "Carrots" because E got mixed up saying it one day and called it Carrots of the Pirabbean. When we're talking about Disney and we say "Carrots", we all know what we mean even if anyone else would be completely confused. (I know some people obviously know that story, but I never know who remembers)

Of the recent film? I really liked it, though I did find it started out a bit slow. But once it got going, it was WOW for me.

Yes, I think it is a DVD of the film, not the actual play. I haven't watched it yet, but will get to it in a week or so. I'll let you know what I think of it.

The opening scene was amazing, but the backstory dragged on a bit. Once they got to school, it was great. Although, some of the numbers were extended too long. Once we get to Defying Gravity, we just want to hear Defying Gravity. But overall, it was amazing. Those are tiny little nitpicks.

Update about my friend's daughter, Em:
The coward didn't show up for his court date. And apparently this guy is well-known to the authorities. There's now a warrant out for his arrest, and he can no longer get out on bond or bail once they bring him in. So hopefully he will get pulled over for speeding or something so they can throw him in jail to await a new trial. Em DID get to see the two girls who helped her that night and give them a hug and thank them, so that's nice.

The coward didn't show up for his court date. And apparently this guy is well-known to the authorities. There's now a warrant out for his arrest, and he can no longer get out on bond or bail once they bring him in. So hopefully he will get pulled over for speeding or something so they can throw him in jail to await a new trial. Em DID get to see the two girls who helped her that night and give them a hug and thank them, so that's nice.
