I cleared out my junk mailbox less than a week ago!

I don't clear out my inbox at all. My personal email is a disaster. My work email has all the emails opened at least, then I know the ones that are marked as unread need to be attended to. I'm afraid to delete certain emails at work, because I might want to search for them down the road. I've gone back multiple years before to find one helpful thing that was said in an old email.

I don’t delete my work emails either, but my personal junk mail is 100% JUNK.

I do the same, although I make multiple email folders on my work email once I have attended them but need to keep them.

Mike’s dad was part of the forces that liberated Arnhem, and where he was critically injured. He recovered obviously, but suffered from his injuries for the rest of his life.

His regiment returned for the 40th anniversary, and were billeted with townspeople. The people of Arnhem care for the graves of the fallen Canadian soldiers even to this day, and hold Canadians in the highest esteem.
Oh wow...was he part of Operation Market Garden? There's a museum in Arnhem about that, and a lot of monuments and bridges named after them. There was a celebration not too long ago commemorating that. We don't live in Arnhem anymore, but we do go shopping there sometimes. I was just there yesterday, actually, because A is looking at going to college there and had a sort of "walk along" day where he got to go to classes and see what it was like. So I went into the Centrum while he was doing that.

People don’t consider they are paying a (premium)charge for the character interaction, not just the food (and all the other expenses that come from running a restaurant.)

My husband had a co-worker with a special needs son (picky eater) and they brought their own food to the character buffet. He made a huge scene at the restaurant with several managers, insisting he would not pay for his son since the boy didn’t eat any buffet food.

People….
Ugh....I hate that people do this. I have a special needs son who is EXTREMELY picky, but I have never, not once, thrown a fit over having to pay for him at a buffet, even if he didn't eat anything there. I actually did my research and didn't book any restaurants where I didn't think he would eat SOMETHING. At Tusker house, the only thing he would eat was some chocolate chip cookies. At 1900 Park Fair, I'm pretty sure it was just a croissant.....same at Crystal Palace. At Garden Grill, the server noticed he hadn't eaten anything and got the chef to make him a pancake, which was a HUGE deal to us that they were willing to make that happen. We mostly end up taking him to a Joffrey's cart to get him a giant donut after every meal, OR taking him to a QS place that serves fries. That's what he lives on at Disney. If you know your kid won't eat, either don't book that restaurant, or be willing to pay even though they don't eat. You make a choice...do you want to create the memories with your kid meeting the characters? Or do you want to get plenty of food for the price? The price is high even for people who DO eat everything...you are paying for the experience. Why do people not get this?

I had to look this up. I had no idea that Adele Dazeem has kind of become her nickname. I knew John Travolta had butchered her name when he announced her at whatever award show it was, but I didn't realize it had "stuck!" Too funny!
It stuck in our house … but we’re kind of weird.
TBH, I couldn’t tell you her real name with any degree of accuracy without looking it up now.

I love that....I love how certain things just stick. Like.....if I say Benadryll Cabbagepatch, everyone knows EXACTLY who I mean. And we have that with a lot of things....we call Pirates of the Caribbean "Carrots" because E got mixed up saying it one day and called it Carrots of the Pirabbean. When we're talking about Disney and we say "Carrots", we all know what we mean even if anyone else would be completely confused. (I know some people obviously know that story, but I never know who remembers)

Everywhere in general. Like yesterday a CostCo opened up in Mass and you think people never shopped before. Just like if a Rainsin Canes or Chick-fil-A opens up, you think people never had crappy food before.
Many of the "crowd" my not have ever been to a Costco before so, yup they have never been to one before. Others might have seen one and wanted to really see if this was the same, while other might be going for the opening day discounts.
