More photos if anyone is interested....Santa's elves were struggling to get kids to join them by the ship's Christmas Tree. The goal was to have children join them in singing Christmas songs. When all seemed hopeless I told them I was an Elementary School Music instructor and they recruited me to lead the singing of Frosty the Snowman ️ ( This is a screenshot so you can't hear me sing..sorry) It was so much fun!View attachment 832784
I have a honkin’ big scar from my hip replacement. It’s gotten better over the years, but the first summer at the beach, it was pretty gnarly. And, the Ranger Danger dog scratch has seemed to resolve itself well enough, so far…!!!

Yea, I probably need some moisturizer or something, but I’m a guy and don’t normally think of those things…plus, my right arm is already scarred up from life…yard work, working on cars, replacing a dryer heating element, replacing a pipe on our side of the water meter, etc.,…Carolyn doesn’t mind, so neither do I…!!!!!

No pics - you’ll have to take my word for it.
It will be 5 years in February … just before COVID came calling. I didn’t even get to finish my physio. Being laid up sure did make social distancing during lockdown easy though.Yea, I’m gonna’ go with the you win on that one…

Sorry, couldn’t resist…!!!!!
BTW…
Glad to hear your hip replacement scar has gotten better. My apologies for not knowing you even had a hip replacement. I truly hope it has been a good thing for you…!!!
I had a bunch of burn scars from working at an oil change place for about 3.5 months back in the mid 80’s, that have been completely gone for a long time. I thought they’d never go away.
We sweated a lot, and the customers drove the cars in hot. We tried to use our shirt sleeves and shop rags to cover our arms, but, inevitably, they’d slip, and the first thing you heard just before the pain set in was a short sizzle…good times…!!!!!

I think it looks like an angel praying.

Not so great at 8:08 pm after the fever had set in, and I was covered in ice packs. Two on my hip for swelling. One on my chest. I think one on my wrist. And a cold cloth on my forehead.

I feel that . Mum went double bionic just recently after "throwing herself at the floor" to jump the waiting list .It will be 5 years in February … just before COVID came calling. I didn’t even get to finish my physio. Being laid up sure did make social distancing during lockdown easy though.

After seeing this scan I can understand why they went straight to the replacement option.
