Both Emmy and Audrey received doctor kits, so wanted to check on Nana’s (Carolyn) health…while she was on the phone with youngest DD…!!!!! 🤣❤️😊

Emmy and Audrey also received unicorn sleeping masks and clear rainbow umbrellas, that had to be, of course, immediately tried out…!!!!! 😅

And then, there was breakfast…
Vegan for Megan, Emmy and Audrey, but there was also pork sausage and fried eggs…a table pic, and a pic of my plate below with potatoes, berries, pork sausages and a fried egg…!!!!! 😋

After Christmas morning at Megan, Daniel, Emmy and Audrey’s, we were all back at Mom and Pops in early afternoon for some linner/dunch…!!! 😉🙂

Some chips and queso to start, and a charcuterie plate…!!!!! 😋

I, apparently, somehow, forgot to get a pic of my plate with leftover pork ribs, shrimp, etc. 🤪😉, but I did get a pic of Moms pecan pie, and my dessert plate with a slice of pecan pie, a slice of the family strudel and a brownie square…!!!!! 😋

And, finally…a pic of Pawpaw with Emmy, and one of him dozed off behind Audrey…hey, give the guy a break, he’ll be 92 on January 1st…!!!!! 🤣😉🙂

On a bit of a more somber note (although she’d kick our butts for being sad 😉), we went out to visit MILs (and other relatives) grave in her hometown, after Mom and Pops.
Like we did at her burial service, we toasted to her life with Mimi wine. She was known as Mimi Shirley (my Mom Mimi Lillian) to our kids and granddaughters.
We may have also shared some wine with her by pouring a little bit on her grave…!!! 😉

After all the other food, between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, all I could muster for our Christmas dinner last night was a small bowl of spaghetti and meat sauce with Texas toast, and a tiny sliver of Megan’s vegan chocolate mousse pie…which, was all delicious, but…!!!!! 🙃🤣
