I’m not getting any this year, I’m sure.

The posties are temporarily back at work, but no sane person mailed anything in the weeks leading up to their strike action, or during the month long strike.

I am so overwhelmed by life lately that I haven’t managed to send any cards.

Still haven’t finished decorating one tree, and we usually put up seven themed trees. 😔 There is at least a wreath on every door, inside and out, and some lighted garland around the front entry.

Tree is done.

Are y’all a “one ornament per branch” precise placer or a “load ‘em up, I don’t need to see any greenery” decorator?

I lean towards the latter.

And please don’t point out that our tree is leaning. I know. My beloved bought a rotating tree stand (he loves ‘em, we’ve had one spinning our Disney tree for years) and I’m not sure if the quality of stands has slipped (entirely possible) or if this pencil tree just doesn’t have enough weight to rotate in a stable manner, but tomorrow am we will be realigning the tree in this stand and it will remain stationary.

I made a little video for y’all of the tree rotating, but it’s too large to upload, even though it’s only :45 🤷🏼‍♀️

Our main tree is tethered to the wall because there are a lot of ornaments. We got a second smaller tree to put next to it to relieve some of the weight. I personally like a lot of ornaments on a tree.

Once my mom passed away and my dad moved to Florida, my sister and I unofficially started a tradition of everyone wearing pajamas for Christmas day. We never talked about it but we just did it. It is so comfortable and we all have appropriate festive pajamas.
I am all.for all-day Christmas Day pajamas. Its one thing to get up and stay in your jammies all day (that's how I spend many Saturdays, especially if its laundry day), but another thing to put them.on to go to dinner. IMO.

I even have a pair of Christmas pjs that I just bought. But I ain't wearing them.out of the house without underwear, and doesn't that defeat the purpose?? 😅

I haven’t had a pj day since we moved up north. Living in a fifth floor apartment means we can’t just open the door and let the dog out. She walks a minimum of three times/day, and two of them are on me.

We go to my brother’s every Christmas morning for brunch. I put a robe on over my nightie, don a pair of boots, and get in the car. No apologies.

I then go home and cook and serve Christmas dinner in my jammies. This year, we’re going to my brother’s in-laws for dinner, so I suppose I’ll have to get dressed.

We dress for Christmas Eve but pj's for Christmas. I'll put on something comfy to cook in as I don't want to roll pasta in my jammies. It's the one day of the year I make sure to make time to do that no matter what. Any other time it is because I'm in the mood to do so. We do Christmas Eve and decided years ago it was too stressful to do Christmas as well either here or traveling so it's just us and a sort of fancy dinner in jammies or sweats.
