It's funny though...I must read a LOT of British literature, because I'd have spelled it with ey. I read the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon and one of the characters in that is Lord John Grey...so I'd have gone with that spelling.

I should have stayed away from Facebook today. Gotta be honest, it's a day that really, really hurts.

Two planes have just crashed into the World Trade Center. They are saying these planes were flown by terriorists. Both towers have gapping holes and are on fire.

Honestly, I read it again today from the beginning ( I always do), but this year it made me cry something awful
Maybe because my dad is now disabled, and he often asks me what my brother would be like/what would he be doing now, had he lived. Its a terrible thing.

My bff who was walking into the office was on the phone with me when the first plane hit. We thought it was a tragic accident until the second plane hit which I saw on the news in real time. Then everything was a blur but I remember people being asked not to use their phones except for emergencies and communicating with people using dial up email which is how I found out my aunt was home and my bother in law was heading into the city to be part of the cleanup. He has health issues do to that.I know you do, you're one of the regulars who remember every year.
