I'm assuming those temps are Fahrenheit. The forecast for my area for the upcoming week includes highs of 86. I am very unhappy about that. I've enjoyed this past week of mid 70s. Perfect weather.

If they aren't in Fahrenheit we need to go up into what is now the charred surface of Cananada and look for crispy survivors.

Definitely Fahrenheit. Except for our friends from across the pond, I recognize that most people are not adept at jumping back and forth between Metric and Imperial at will.

I'm sure I've shared this before - I was in Grade 5 when the switch was made, so I had a lot of Imperial under my belt. Mike was in grade 4 at the time, and he has way less Imperial knowledge banked. He has no idea what 77 degrees is. And when I tell him it's exactly 25 Celsius, he says "Why didn't you just say that?"

Why? Because I prefer to express warm temps in Fahrenheit, and cold temps in Celsius. Deal with it.

I didn't see the video but anything announcing someone as cancer free can be schmaltzy and overdramatic as the survivor wants it to be. I'm glad that she is doing better.

I didn't know what the correct spelling was when I was in elementary school, so my teacher looked it up. She said either was correct. If you'd ask me to spell it, I would go with ay, just because that's a pretty common spelling for the long a sound, whereas ey isn't.

I just worked through my monthly expenses, wondering if I had missed something because I haven't been saving quite as much as normal. Nope, I was right. I should still have the same added to my savings each month. Just turns out that all of those fun things I did over the summer cost money. Who woulda thunk??
