Very nice wreath! I have very similar ornaments on my Christmas tree.

No, that was a Kirby Vacuum Cleaner. They were sold door to door and if you bought the entire package it could do everything from being a work table grinder/wire brush, polisher to a carpet shampooer to even a vacuum cleaner. It could do everything and they did indeed last forever. Especially long time if you wanted a new lighter weight one, but you paid a lot for that and you can't just throw it away and everyone else has one already so you can't even sell it. I remember that my Mom and Dad had one for 30 years. Even my wife had one (pre-marriage) but she only bought the basic "just a vacuum" vacuum cleaner. I eventually threw it away when she wasn't looking. She wasn't mad, she just wished she would have thought about doing that.

I almost forgot, you could convert it into a paint sprayer as well, I remember doing my deck with one that I borrowed from my parents.
