Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Mike has 6 older siblings, and for 50+ years they have assembled en masse for Boxing Day. It started out in their parents’ home, but for decades now, each year one of the siblings has hosted. We are between 45-55 people now, so we rent a small hall.

Two cycles ago, when it was our turn, we switched to ordering in pizza. (Necessity is not the mother of invention - laziness is!) Everyone else brings a side, snack, or dessert. There is always WAY too much food.

Anyways, it’s our year to host, so I’d best get cracking. On the plus side, after this, we’re not up to bat again until 2030.

Happy Boxing Day everyone. (This is Canada’s version of Black Friday, and I’m eying a couple of different cheap Smart TV’s.)

No offence, friends, but you weren’t very good with food pics on Thanksgiving (not looking at you @Figgy1), so let me set the example for today.

Heading to my brothers for brunch with last year’s new recipe for cinnamon French toast casserole.

Wait, you mean I shouldve taken more pics after I loaded down the table with food? My fancy dishes weren’t enough? 😅

This Christmas Decorative Masterpiece of yours is amazing! It must have taken hours and hours and hours to accomplish.
Steve, it took many many many hours over at least three weeks.
Merry Christmas everyone! 🎅
Now I’m hearing Shakin’ Stevens in my head.

(if you don’t know what I’m talking about, Google it. Best Christmas song ever)
I have an iPhone. Everything is in the Cloud. Updating and transferring is easy peasy.

They will tear my home button from my cold dead hands.

I saw them in the 60's live at the University of Vermont and always watched the Comedy Hour. He will be missed.

@SteveBrickNJ since you’re a music teacher (I’m pretty sure you are?) I thought you might also appreciate this wreath that I made some years ago when the original Christmas tree started to get over-full of ornaments.

I get a little carried away making wreaths. There’s one on literally every door in my house.
