Not overly bothered as I still have no desire to visit the Florida parks in the near to mid future.

I was just talking to my brother J. They are going to be in the parks next week. 4 or 5 of them. He’d planned on buying Genie+ for their crew. He thought it was still $15/pp. Then we laughed and laughed.

The lower left (UP) is the only one that ever got to me. The rest always had the underlying feeling of being just a cartoon, but, maybe because it was more closely connected to aging and real life, it never seemed like a cartoon until the balloon part. Leading up to that it hit home really hard for me. It became difficult for me to maintain my heartless reputation during that part.

Ahhh, I did see it.
I really cried (I mean really, really cried) when I realized that Grandma Tala WAS the manta ray; and of course when Grandma Coco died.
I guess the peaceful old-age-of-natural-causes deaths cut me the deepest.
I watched Elf earlier in the week. I hadn't seen it in years, but it's always a good one.

In the Good Old Summertime is another take on Shop Around the Corner and it has Judy Garland . And there’s the Broadway musical She Loves Me that is a riff on that story too.

I first saw Moana on a Disney cruise ship, with subtitles for the hearing impaired, and fell instantly in love with the movie, even though it ripped my heart out. It was a little more than six months after my brother died, and somehow they’d used his personality to create Maui. That, combined with the Grandma Manta Ray messages, had me weeping through most of the film. I think I watched it once or twice a week for almost a year, just to “see” my brudda.
