Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I liked Oppenheimer. I think it was hyped up a lot, which set my expectations a little too high. I was confused in some parts about what was happening, but it became a little more clear at the end. Although I still must have missed some things. I think if I watched it a second time, I'd understand more of what's happening.
Who the heck pays to see the same movie twice?!?

It took a few months for the lake to warm up enough, but now that it has, we are living down there! Our neighbours have offered us use of their kayaks, as has my grade school friend on the next street over … but I’m not comfortable borrowing someone else’s watercraft.

My cousins gave me a lovely card with a cash gift by way of thanking me for looking after their mom - with strict instructions to buy something that would make Auntie happy.

I’ve shared before that Auntie is the reason that Mike and I bought this RV, so it seemed fitting to spend the money on this:

What an appropriate and kind gesture from your cousins!! You absolutely deserve a nice gift like that, not to mention that your aunt would have loved for you and hubs to have this gift as well. (I'm sure Auntie is observing this from heaven, by the way.)

P.S.: I love the color combination on that kayak. Very sleek!

So for one person it’s an Adventure, but for two people it’s a Journey! Let’s just hope it’s a Magic Journey!! :hilarious:

Last night I was previewing our trip that starts today.
I was looking at the Tripadvisor reviews for our Best Western Hotel Astoria in Copenhagen.
It hit me that I did not see any usb ports to plug to use to charge our cell phone batteries.
I emailed the Best Western hotel and they agreed that they don't have that technology in the room.
They have "a few adaptors but they can't promise it...if other guest request it before we arrive we'll have to go to the nearby train station stores and purchase it ourselves.
We leave home in one hour to head to the airport.
It's too late to purchase anything here.
Pray for us and be well everyone!

You can probably pick up a USB plug for EU use at either airport, PHL or CPH.

Or,.do you not have a set of adapters (even just a single us to EU adapter plug)? Assuming you got a "plug head" (thats what i call the thing you plug the usb into to.plug it into the wall, all.of my devices have come with one) you could plug the USB into that and then the us plug into the EU adapter. I've done that, although I do have a plug head that will take the USB cord and plug into a UK socket.

You can probably get one at the airport, our Walmart and Target also sell travel adapters if you have time maybe stop at one on the way. I'm sure there will be a store at your destination probably even in the airport that sells them. Didn't you go to Ireland last year? Did you get an adapter that would work from that trip?

Edit: I see your problem is solved. Have a good time.

Good news! A year and a half ago my wife went to Europe with her friend. My wife HAS an adapter to convert from USA to Europe electric outlets.
Also, you are very correct that I could purchase one at those locations.
Thanks for your post.
Leaving in 30 minutes.
We have passed thru TSA Security at PHL Airport. Our flight is on a small 15 minute delay. New departure time is 4:30pm.Destination Toronto. Gonna see @JenniferS. 😉
