Today my wife and I were first time visitors to Lucy the Elephant in Margate NJ.

This year I decided to participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count. I discovered they take it pretty seriously. Had to download an app and use it to report.
Courtesy of the app, here’s my list of birds who visited my backyard (and front yard) feeders just from yesterday and today:
I was very excited to see a pair of red-winged blackbirds yesterday. Haven’t seen them in years up here, they were regular visitors to our window feeder when we lived in the Bronx. Guess there’s sufficient grassland up here in the burbs that they don’t need to rely on feeders.

That movie has got to be where they got the idea of Ground Hog Day. Same thing over and over and over and over and over and, well you get the picture.

Mike and I went to the RV Show in London today. Went in and out of dozens and dozens of trailers. There was really only ONE that I preferred to ours and it was 3x what we paid.
Feels good when your choice is reaffirmed. No buyer’s remorse for us.
We didn’t get to spend Valentine’s Day together (fake made-up holiday that it is), so we went out for dinner afterward.
We don’t have OG. We have East Side Mario’s. (Budda Boom Budda Bing)
Garlic loaf vs garlic breadstick. Same endless salad. Same tomatoes and croutons on the side.

We’re getting caca weather too. Looks like Mother Nature finally remembered it’s winter and has stepped up her game.

Can't remember how many years ago it was, but I do recall a winter with little snow. But then toward the end of winter, we got hit with a few blockbuster storms, back to back.
