Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Mike was busy with what turned out to be his final coaching game of the season, so I did a couple of hours of volunteering and then went to the show with my SIL.

I’m not saying what we saw, but it might rhyme with Tragic Bike.

… or it might not rhyme with Tragic Bike at all.
Might? Might not?

Definitely not.

@PUSH , do you get a mid-winter school break? Locally here, it's Feb. 20-24 that the kids are off from school.
Nope. Wisconsin doesn't do that. We don't have a scheduled break between winter and spring breaks. So we go from January until the beginning of April without one. It's a long stretch.

Might depend on the district though. ;) My district only has a Spring Break week every other year that that tends to be in March. The years we don't do a week long Spring Break we have short breaks through the school year, like in October, February and March. Our non-Spring Break year is when we have both Good Friday and Easter Monday off, in SB years we only have Good Friday off. A few other school around us do a similar schedule.

I guess I should rephrase it to "Nowhere in my region of Wisconsin". We have no fall or winter break #2. We just have Thanksgiving break (3 days), winter break (Christmas through New Years), and spring break (1 week).

@JenniferS, pull out the credit card.

Yeah, I saw that a week or so ago. Lucky for my bank account they don’t ship to Canada. 😂

That's a shame because that was when we always took our trip to WDW. After a full February in Vermont we were always ready for warm air and palm trees. With weekends the mid-winter break was 12 days. Perfect amount of time and perfect time in general. I don't think they even have that in Vermont anymore. I don't have many friends in child raising years anymore.

We had a heavy freezing rain dump overnight. I took the trash to the curb last night just as it was starting. The cars were already encased in ice, but I was still able to flip up all of the wiper blades.

I went from car to car in the pouring rain and flipped mine, Ski’s, and Spenser’s. Unfortunately someone had taken Mike’s usual on-street parking spot, so he was parked way around the corner, at least 100m away. I took one look at the skating rink that used to be our street, and thought - nope, you’re on your own, Hunny.

And to think, earlier this week, we broke records for warm temps. Mother Nature needs to get her meds checked.

Yeah, it was big news when it happened.

There are very stringent safeguards in place that are supposed to prevent this, but COVID ended a lot of face to face transactions. It doesn’t help that there are a handful of real estate agents and mortgage brokers complicit in the scam. 🤬
