Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or don't get the reference - so at risk of being obnoxious and explaining it I'm going to explain it!

It's referencing the childhood jingle bells ripoff "Jingle bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg...Batmobile lost its wheel and Joker got away".
Oh I was being sarcastic. I've seen several memes explaining that Robin is a human male and therefore incapable of laying an egg, the batmobile has all four wheels and Joker is safely secured and did not in fact get away.

Today's a good day for singing Christmas songs. Which ones are everyone's favorites? I like Winter Wonderland, and Silent Night.

What a fun topic!

I'm a fan of O Holy Night, I like Winter Wonderland, too. One of my very favorite's isn't too well-known on this side of the Atlantic, it's called Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin' Stevens.

I love to listen to Amy Grant's album Home for Christmas while I'm doing my holiday baking. It's a beautiful album, a nice mix of religious and popular music, and the arrangements are all wonderful. Here's the track list:

Classic: Brenda Lee’s Rockin Around the Christmas Tree

Non-traditional: Father Christmas by The Kinks or Christmas in Hollis by RUN-DMC

Dislike to the point I’ll change the station or skip (and I consider it a successful Christmas season if I don’t hear at all): Wonderful Christmastime by Paul McCartney and Santa Claus is Coming to Town the Bruce Springsteen version.

@SteveBrickNJ , did you make it back home safely with your daughter? When I was in college, every year right before we were supposed to go home, we'd get a big blizzard and get 3 feet of snow dumped on us. It was always touch and go as to when we'd be able to get on the road. My understanding was that the weather was supposed to be really bad this weekend in the US. Hope you are all safe and warm!!

Christmas isn't as big of a deal over here as it is in the US, and I have to say I'm glad we don't have all the same carols, because I've never liked Do you hear what I hear or Parumpumpumpum and they don't play those on the radio here. I always loved I'll Be Home for Christmas.

Very kind of you to ask. We came back safely on Friday Dec. 16th. It was icy in Virginia when we headed down. The route we always take passes thru a mountain about an hour before arriving at her University. That day there was THICK FOG but I prayed and drove super slowly. Merry Christmas!😊

Oh good, I'm so glad!! I wasn't here for a week or two, so I just caught up and I remembered reading you were picking her up, but didn't realize how long ago that was. And then after reading that TheMouseFan's daughter passed in a car accident, and then a friend of mine posted on facebook that her cousin also passed in a car accident this past week, I've been very worried about everyone driving long distances.

Please, everyone, if you have travel plans, please please please drive carefully!!
