Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Another snow day today! Not sure if staff have to do anything or not. We've used 2 snow days already, and we haven't even officially hit winter. Makes me nervous for make ups.

We have another snow day today as well. I originally had a medical day scheduled for yesterday so I guess I will get that day added back, but since my appointment was canceled I still have to take another day off. I like that we have had snow days at Christmastime so I can relax at home and enjoy my decorations though.

Our days off are for snow/ice yesterday, about 5 inches of snow but a lot melted too, and looks like about 5-6 inches of more snow this morning. It is heavy snow, some people in town have lost power luckily we did not.

I didn't know whether to like this or do a sad face. I chose a like for the snow day.

It must be bad closer to central Wisconsin. Some of the bigger districts like Sun Prairie, Verona, and even Madison are closed. They never close.

Why? I would venture a guess that the companies have just moved to the extremes. The people wanting a healthy portion are offered the small cans ( not enough for me ) ....or the people who are supposedly not concerned about health are offered 16 ounces which is more than I wanted.
I always figured it was because typically people grabbing a drink in a convenience store are in some way in transit someplace else and you're less likely to spill in the car if you can put the cap back on between sips. I never bought cans for traveling for that reason - no way to seal it up when I'm not actively drinking.

Buy two 8 oz cans. I never liked the 16 oz cans because they always seemed to get flat by the time I finished them. I found that I don't really like to drink that much liquid all at one time. I noticed that when I go out to dinner with friends or family, I get one glass of whatever and I have to finish it up before we leave. In the meantime my companions are finishing up their second and sometimes third refill. So I guess I am one of the people to blame for the smaller portions.
7 11s and Wawas don't have the 8 ounce cans. That is supermarkets. I wanted Pepsi to keep me alert last night as I drove from NJ to Virginia. My only option was a 16 ounce bottle. Take it or leave it....so I took it.

That is certainly a valid option. My opinion is that a plastic bottle will keep things a little cooler for a longer period of time. Aluminum is a conductor of heat and cold. So is plastic, but takes slightly longer to warm up.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
We had a “freezing rain turn the city into a skating rink” event, so schools were closed here today.

I took a look at the sidewalks and told Daisy there would be no walkies today. Mike is 3000km away. Wouldn’t be smart to break my leg again.

Only Steve from NJ could make such a big stink like this....just because he was deprived the option of a 12 ounce can. I think this Steve needs to lighten up a bit! 😁
