Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

We went to Mal’s memorial service today. It was about 90 minutes NE of here. The foliage on our drive was incredibly beautiful. Vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows in every direction.

The spectacular views made a hard day a little easier. My heart was feeling lighter … and then my brother sent me this. He’s fine. Thank you, Lord. 🙏🏻

(I was going to white out his licence plate, but the cube truck that rear ended him took care of it.)

Jeepers, that was a bad accident. Relieved to hear that your brother is o.k. though. Thank goodness the hit was from the rear, and not the side or front. (He'll be shaken up for a few days, but will be o.k. in due course.)

I just heard from him. He’s sore, but overall fine. The car, on the other hand, is a complete write-off.
He DID get checked out at a hospital, right? He might have felt fine right after, with adrenaline and whatnot, but sometimes it can take a few days before you really realize the affects. After we were hanging off the side of a mountain, I felt fine that first day....there was no impact or anything. But the next day, my shoulders were sooooo sore. I must have really tensed up. Logical, really, but it's not something you notice until it's all over and your body relaxes. And that looks like there had to be quite an impact. I'm not surprised he's sore!!!

He did not - was checked out by EMS friend (EMT, in the US), and was told to take Tylenol and ice his face, where the airbag deployed.

He has assured me that he will definitely go to the hospital if things get worse, but for now, he’s just stiff. I would have gone to the hospital automatically, but that’s probably a woman thing. 🤷🏼‍♀️

No, I'm afraid that you are correct that is definitely a man thing. My daughters brother in law had an accident with his motorcycle when he was cut off and he couldn't stop in time. He hit the car and flew over he top of it landing on the other side. He refused to go the the hospital but after talking to his wife he consented to go only to call her back while in route to the hospital telling her to pick him up right away. He refused to be seen while he was there. He went home and had an absolutely miserable two days at home and she did take him back to the hospital. He was covered with bruises and major pavement burns that were treated to prevent infection. And he went back home. His wife said he walked around like he was 100 years old for about two months. Only a macho man would do something as brain dead as that.

I have been accused of that in my younger years, I have learned just how stupid that is. But to do that in Canada with free (so to speak) health care is doubly hard to understand.

I just checked the weather for the balance of October. I am liking what I see. The high for every day is in the 60s. Naturally I am talking about my own town. How about any of you?🤔View attachment 674219
It was a beautiful day here.
I got Auntie out on the porch for an hour or two. Could have done without the kamikaze bees, but other than that, it was lovely.

It really wiped her out physically, but I’m hoping we can get out tomorrow and maybe Monday too. This will be her final season of nice weather, so I want her to feel God’s sun and fresh air on her face a few last times.

Temps are always up and down in October. I'm happiest when they land at 40 or less. (We've had a few days of that.)
