@JenniferS , I was reading a compilation of some Canadian headline posts (as noted in a Reader's Digest collection). So, is "eh" no longer a thing up there? ;) (@Goofyernmost will be disappointed, if so.)

"Canadians slowly but surely dropping the famous 'eh' from their speech, linquist says"

The one-word expression that came to define Canadian English—both within Canada and around the world—is disappearing, Sali Tagliamonte, a linguist at the University of Toronto, told Vancouver-based the Province in 2013. The word that’s pushing “eh” out of the way? According to Tagliamonte, the word “right” has replaced “eh” among young Canadians.

Nah, they will always do it, eh! Just like they will always watch hockey, eh! That said, however, they inexplicably now drink more Budweiser than Labatt's, eh! Those that have replaced it with "right" would not be understanding that the use of "eh" is not asking a question, it is making a verbal exclamation point, eh! Besides how can anyone with a name like Sali Tagliamonte be an expert on Canadian phraseology, right? 🤔🤯🙂

Not that I’ve noticed.

I don’t say it often, but when I do, it’s organic, not forced.

We are on our way to Disney! We've been driving for almost 4 hours. We've stopped once to switch drivers and use the bathroom. We're planning on getting to somewhere in Tennessee tonight, then driving the rest of the way tomorrow.

So far we've gotten 20 states for the license plate game. No provinces yet.

Also, just a fair warning that I may not read all the posts here until I get back... so if I miss yours I apologize. I always miss posts when I'm in Disney.
