wasnt that his brush with a celebrityMy brush with a sports celebrity was literally a brush. I was standing in line for an autograph from Don Cherry. He wasn’t behind a table, just sitting in a chair and the line was to his right hand side.
As I approached, he asked “To whom do I write it?” And I answered “To Mike”.
He replied, “You don’t sound like a Mike” and turned to face me … and turned smack right into the side of my breast as I was leaning over to hand him the book. Oopsie.
30 years later, he gets fired by CBC. Coincidence.
We saw former Packers head coach Mike Holmgren at MK. He was trying to get into The Plaza, but it was full. So he left the park, and we followed him down Main Street (not in a stalking way, we were leaving, too). He didn't have any people to guide him.I saw Nick Mangold, former center for the NY Jets, in the Magic Kingdom. His people whooshed him in through the exit of 7DMT. Kinda hard to miss a 6'4" guy with a sorcerer Mickey had and a kid on his shoulders.
My opinion is that Jennifer is a completely different person when in Disney. Also Toronto and N.Y. are both in the Eastern Time zone so they both will have the same adjustment. It depends on what time they had to get to the airport in the morning. The biggest problem is scraping off the snow when they get to southern California. So, @JenniferS and @NYwdwfan , I was just thinking about Jennifer (a confirmed "night owl") and wondering if NYwdwfan is also one, or if she keeps more normal hours. If one person is a night person, and the other person is a day person, how will you two coordinate your vacation day schedules, out in Disneyland? Now, add to that, (NYwdwfan, in particular), there's also the time change for the West Coast, compared to what you're used to out here.
Can't wait to hear about how both of you have planned for all this -- or, perhaps I'm overthinking it. Maybe once you enter Disneyland, pixie dust is flying around and erases all semblance of time?
Funny you should ask. She’s basically a vampire and I’m a total morning person. But we are both going to adjust to park hours and just push on through. So, @JenniferS and @NYwdwfan , I was just thinking about Jennifer (a confirmed "night owl") and wondering if NYwdwfan is also one, or if she keeps more normal hours. And let's be honest... nobody gets sleep at Disney, and you don't really do much relaxing, so everyone is exhausted.Funny you should ask. She’s basically a vampire and I’m a total morning person. But we are both going to adjust to park hours and just push on through.
Even if I had the money, this design concept doesn't appeal to me.Disney to develop residential communities with new 'Storyliving by Disney' business

Did they mention cost anywhere?Even if I had the money, this design concept doesn't appeal to me.
If you have to ask . . .Did they mention cost anywhere?
a 2 bedroom 2 bath house in Rancho Mirage, Calif. starts at $899,000 it being a Disney Storyliving communitiy will most likely be a tad over that for a condo and most likely over a million for a houseDid they mention cost anywhere?
