The hat was fun, it was just in the wrong location.how long was the Hat up?

Too longhow long was the Hat up?
I wondered the exact same thing. Dumping RoL at least gives me a little hope that this could be a short term show. Hopefully they see the money they spend each night on the show is not worth the return. And to think, for this they ruined the lagoon. How long do they give it before they cry “Uncle” and dump it à la RoL?!?
The fountains made it even worse when they tried to disguise them.Ruined is an understatement. And I don't usually care about sight lines, etc. Those barges are totally intrusive.
Would've been fun at DS.The hat was fun, it was just in the wrong location.
If you are talking about Disney Springs I am afraid I don't agree. It would be even more out of place there. DHS was the perfect place and all they would have needed to do was to put it in the Animation Courtyard. Animation area became deserted just a few years later and the courtyard was no longer of any importance at all.Would've been fun at DS.
I guess I was thinking about when it was DTD. I think it would have been a fun little outside shop. It wouldn't fit the feel of the current DS. I feel like the Animation Courtyard was too small for it and would have made that area look cluttered, just like it did in front of TGMR. It really should have been a separate add on somewhere and not plopped in the middle of an area that wasn't designed for it.If you are talking about Disney Springs I am afraid I don't agree. It was put up as a tribute to Walt Disney's 100th Birthday. So it was there in 2001 and we were lead to believe that was just there for that year. It was completely hated due to the absolute stupidity of blocking the full view of the Chinese Theater (GMR). Removed in 2015 it was a shame. It was built to stay and still could be there had the put it in the right place. They couldn't have done it even if they wanted at that point, it was not movable.
To big for sure, but they didn't have to make it as big as they did. It was designed and built long after the courtyard existed. Let's face it, if even I can think of a better place to build it, they surely should have. I don't remember that area ever being that crowded except with parked double strollers.I guess I was thinking about when it was DTD. I think it would have been a fun little outside shop. Edited to add: But yes, theming-wise the Animation Courtyard makes the most sense.
I believe you are correctWasn’t the BAH supposed to have been built OUTSIDE the front entry originally?

If anyone is a big Winnie the Pooh fan, I highly recommend the book Finding Winnie: The True Story of the World's Most Famous Bear. It's about the real Winnie. Pretty cool, and it has real photographs, too.Any interested buyers here?

We’ve had no riotous colours to speak of. All I’ve seen are yellow leaves and naked branches. My friends who live in MN, Wisconsin and Ontario....
Any fall foliage photos to share?
We are still about a month and a half away from color changing here in NC. The state consists of mostly southern Pines, but there are areas of very nice color around. I had some nice pictures from my apartment area when I first moved here. We’ve had no riotous colours to speak of. All I’ve seen are yellow leaves and naked branches.
Not much here. Leaves are pretty much green still. Little bits of red.My friends who live in MN, Wisconsin and Ontario....
