PUSH, is the ResortTV1 an online subscription service, or is it part of the Disney plus streaming service? (I don't have either -- just curious where you found the Resort one. )

Does anyone following the Genie+ info know if you can pay for the headliners without also having Genie+ or is it the $15/day and THEN you can add a headliner, if you are so inclined?

My understanding is that you don't need Genie+ to get individual attraction lightning lanes. They are separate. They are both available through the free Genie app. And you don't have to buy them for every day of your trip as long as you don't buy it in advance. Wait until you are there, and then use the app to buy for that day only. Then do the same for any other days you want to make use of it.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

Genie+ is $15/day - does not have to be length of stay like Park Hopper was.

Headliner is pay as you go. Do not have to be using Genie+ that day.

Planning a trip?

Minor Harmonious spoilers ahead, and my first gut reaction to the show.

Watched Harmonious... not a fan. It reminded me of Rivers of Light. The crowd didn't seem into it either. I'd rather have Epcot Forever as the permanent show. It makes me really sad they scrapped Illuminations for this. Parts literally felt like HEA. Like nearly identical. Other parts felt out of sync with random fireworks. There wasn't a story, and the message they are trying to send was extremely weak. There were one or two parts I liked, but the music wasn't tied to a film, but rather more cultural music. But those parts were really brief.

I am kind of “meh” after watching Harmonious as well. The music overall was nice, I enjoyed the different languages being song. Some of the projections looked nice too. But not enough lasers or fireworks for me. And not enough emotional tug. Epcot Forever was such an emotional show for me since I grew up with most of the songs/attractions but even Illuminations (original and ROE) had more heart to it. The girl doing the narration for Harmonious sounded very robotic to me.

I will reserve reserve my final judgement until I see it in person.

I agree about the girl narrating. No energy in the voice. No passion. Seemed like a student reading from a script in front of a class.

Overall the whole show lacked emotion and passion. It felt bland and unoriginal. I never saw Epcot Forever in person, but it still had a lot more to it than Harmonious. So I feel like I can judge both of those on even ground since I haven't seen either in person. As someone who first visited Epcot in 2002 as a second grader, I still felt the weight to Epcot Forever, even though I hadn't experienced many of the attractions they were paying tribute to. I found myself looking at the clock multiple times during Harmonious to see when it'd be over. I think the crowd felt similar, and it sounds like that was the overall reaction from fans so far.

And to think, for this they ruined the lagoon. How long do they give it before they cry “Uncle” and dump it à la RoL?!?
