Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

@JenniferS , when the border finally opens up (in the weeks to come, that is), do you have any plans for travel? If so, are you leaning more toward a car trip, or airplane travel to a fun destination? :)
I hurled a VERY thinly veiled insult at her yesterday with the promise that if I did she would come beat me with a shoe. So I guess her first destination will be Long Island with a trunk full of shoes!
We will travel by car to Buffalo as soon as possible. Mostly for a grocery run and the opportunity to see a movie on the big screen!

Bestie and I are in the preliminary planning stages for a trip to Disneyland!

Mike is waiting to see what these variants do and until US vaccination rates are higher before he will even consider returning to WDW. 🙁

As of today, we are two weeks out from our second dose and are considered fully vaccinated. Canada’s vaccination rates are climbing rapidly every day (I mean, they had NOWHERE to go but up!), while you guys are in a bit of a stall.
DL or bust!

Back when I was stationed in Niagara Falls, I did everything I could to travel by car away from Buffalo. Then they sent me to Vietnam. I didn't really want to leave there that badly.

See, there’s always somewhere worse than Buffalo.
Yes, but I had to go to the other side of the world to find it.
We used to live for Friday nights when we would travel to downtown Buffalo to pay a visit to the Palace burlesque show with live strippers and then to Shakey's to drink cold dark beer, eat pizza and sing projected songs until closing. Then we would go back and get up at 8am to watch Roger Ramjet on TV.
No doubt about it we were wild and crazy guys

Buffalo has Wegman’s. We love Wegman’s.
We have a Wegman's here that I have been to once. Was not impressed except that they had very good lunch sandwiches. Granted I didn't spend a lot of time wandering around but what I did see was just another overpriced horse and pony show in my opinion. But, I don't get out much. I'm glad that there is something worth going to Buffalo now, I assume that the Palace Burlesque is closed down by now. That was in 1969.

Not a fan of Wegmans either. Overpriced, showy, and the one in our area has a parking garage -- just for the grocery store. I have zero desire to park in a 2-level parking garage, just to get weekly groceries. Yuck. Went there once; never returned.

If you like hockey, the gps would get a work out helping you travel between the two cities in the Stanley Cup Finals:
Montreal and Tampa Bay

They are 1,554 miles apart.....or 2,392 km

So I forgot to finish my "Two Years Ago Trip Report", so here's the rest. Two years ago from the 26th, we went to Epcot in the morning, then back to MK at night to set up in a good spot for the fireworks. In between the parks my brother and I went to DHS to get some pictures we had seen earlier in our trip. I got two of the three I previously wanted, and had to hope the Main Street Cinema had the last one, even though the CM who helped me said they didn't have any there. Well, I got lucky and they did! We must have also gone to DS before MK, because I have a picture of the place we parked in at the Lime Lot. Apparently it was a busy day!

I just watched a livestream of MK's Cast Member preview of HEA. It was a bit laggy, but all the feels! On Thursday night you'll be able to watch the first night it's open to the public on ResortTV1. And that same night Cory Meets World will be streaming Epcot Forever's first showing.

I know that's not true. There is running water in those photos. You live in Cananadia, so the water would be solid ice. You can't trick me. 🧐
It’s been high 80’s, low 90’s, with humidex readings in the 100’s for the past few days. I would kill for a block of ice right now … Uncle Orville style.

Our a/c does not quite reach the top floor. 🥵

@PUSH , thanks for your TR from a few years ago, with some great photos and fond memories for you.

Have to say I'm happy about one of the updates since your last trip. And that is the removal of the huge concrete uggos in front of SSE. Thank God those are gone now, and the beautiful, entrance fountain (with the EPCOT acrylic pylons) is BACK!!! :inlove:
