Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

So I had a couple of files on my wish list on Teachers Pay Teachers, which is a website where educators can sell digital files they've created to other teachers. I was just scrolling along Facebook and see a recommended ad for one of my files. If I bought that one, the seller is offering a BOGO to get the other file totally free. I was going to buy both of them anyway, but now I can get them for half the price. See? There is some good in 2020.

So as I predicted a couple of weeks ago, I totally jinxed myself and that last house bounced back.

I re-sold it again (for the fourth time!) over the weekend. We Zoomed first thing Monday morning, and then Mike and I went to my office and closed it down. I deleted all my Disney files from the desktop, cancelled the call forwarding, changed the outgoing message, put up “SOLD OUT” signs, and gathered my personal belongings.

The Purchasers dropped off their $30K deposit draft this morning, so it’s official - that site is completely sold out.

Feels weird. I should be elated, and gearing up big time for our traditional post Labour Day WDW trip, but as we all know, things are different right now.

I’m wondering if I can talk Mike into renting a cottage slightly off season this year. There is no way I’m ready to go to a beach right now with the insane crowds, but maybe after school starts back up. IF school starts back up.
You should just load up the car with massive quantities of Labatt blue and Cananadian chocolates and head south on a tour to visit all your Sageteer friends!

I think the Canadian/ U.S. border is still closed.

I wish. Sigh.

Do you know how close people can get to the border? If it's close enough, you could maybe load up a backpack with Labatt blue and Canadian chocolates for Wrangler Rick. He could drive up there and meet you at an agreed upon date/time, and you could throw the backpack over the border line to him. Might be worth a try. Just sayin . . .

:p

Recently posting on my phone rather than my laptop has been challenging. My laptop has an ad blocker software but my phone does not. wdwmagic's pop up ads from Home Depot and 7-11 sometimes takeover my phone's screen. Anyone else dealing with that?

Yes, I've noticed the ads have been pretty glitchy and problematic on my phone lately. To the point where I can't respond or reply to messages because they cover the "post reply" button and other features. I do most of my posting from a laptop, so it hasn't been a huge problem for me.

You explained perfectly what I've experienced as well. I am responding to you on my laptop.....yet sometimes I am away from home and I wish the pop ads did not do what you so accurately described.
