Very good likeness!
Thanks everyone. I would have posted a thanks to everyone individually, but at my age I just don't have that kind of time.

I think I speak for everyone when I say we would prefer individual 'Thank You' cards mailed. With a personalized greeting.

And cash.

We'll be PMing you our mailing addresses in the coming days. Please don't let us down.
You seem to be a little confused about who (or possible whom) gets gifts on their birthday. All that information is available online, but to save time I will tall you what it says... Me... I get the presents. I will be expecting them by the end of the week.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
We may be in Stage 3 of our re-opening, but life is far from normal.

In order to go shopping for new glasses, I had to make an appointment - the first available one is Thursday afternoon.

Masks are mandatory, which is city bylaw right now anyway, but a temperature check will be done, as well as a health questionnaire completed before I will be admitted. The store is locked, and I will have to knock or phone.

On the plus side, with 14.5 million people in Ontario, we are reporting 111 new cases since yesterday; 4 deaths; and a total of 96 people (in the entire province) are currently hospitalized with COVID, 31 of whom are in ICU.

“Far from normal” seems to be working.

In other news, we ate indoors at a “restaurant” yesterday. I said I wasn’t ready, but we were the only people there. Of the ten available booths/tables, 50% were taped off.

Everyone else was going through the drive-thru.

I asked a detailed cable tv swapping boxes question over on the Chit Chat Forum. If anyone on this thread is good at that stuff, I'd be grateful if you took a look and responded.
If not....that's ok. Have a good night either way :)

The wire that comes out of the wall will go into the Fios box in the satellite in or cable in jack. Then you will connect the hdmi cord to both the hdmi out on the fios box and the hdmi in on the tv. It will probably be hdmi input 1. Then you will have the power cord coming out of the fios box and plugged into the wall. It should be pretty straightforward if you have issues post a photo of the back of the fios box and the inputs on the tv and I’ll try to be more specific.

Currently the only thing connected into the tv beside the power cord is this cord going into HDMI.....20200728_192055.jpg

What is the other end of that hdmi connected to? If it’s the old fios box just move it to the new box and you should be good to go. If it is coming from a dvd player and you don’t have another hdmi input on your tv you can get an hdmi splitter off amazon for like $10.

It IS INDEED connected to the old Fios tv box. No DVD or anything else involved. Thank you sooooo much!!!
