Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I was prescribed 325mg ASA daily for 6 weeks after my surgery. After a couple of days of non-stop nausea, my surgeon cut it to a single 81mg tablet.

Thanks to the COVID situation, my 6-week follow up has been deferred. It’s been more than 10-weeks now, and I just realized that I haven’t stopped taking them.

At my last physical, my GP suggested that every household should keep 81mg tablets in the medicine cabinet just in case, but that I didn't need to take them daily.

The excessive bruising on my shin concurs. No good comes from tidying up someone else’s messy closet.

I didn't watch any of the Disney sing along, but I just found this. I like this song to start with, but I love the backup singers. 😂

I was taking extra-strenghth Tylenol every 8 hours , but I'm down to just taking 2 at night now. Funny you should mention your bruise on your shin. I have had one on mine since the Great Hot Tub Incident back in September. Still hurts, but I've had bigger fish to fry since then, so I put up with it.

I still take 2 Tylenol before bed, and 2 in the morning. It’s not for my hip at this point, but for my knee. There was a 50/50 chance that there might be some trickle down pain relief for my knee after the hip replacement. I just came out on the wrong side of 50. 🙁

The ASA was for post-surgical blood clots.

BTW - any bruise that lasts 12 months is usually permanent. It’s called bruise staining and is caused by trapped iron rich protein. Decades ago, it was an accepted protocol for doctors to put the patient on a completely iron deficient diet to force the body to seek the trapped iron. Didn’t work then, doesn’t work now.

I still have light bruise staining from my knee surgery in July. The surgeon says it’s mine forever now. I figure my beauty pageant days are over, so I’m okay with it.

Wow. That's weird, but absolutely fascinating. Never heard of that phenomenon before.

After the SSE refurb, I might be his only “sweet thing” in the parks. In my treehouse specifically. Now get off of my lawn.

And send me up a Dole Whip float please. I’ll lower a bucket.
I am nervous about the SSE refurb. I have been saying I wouldn't be upset if the closures meant just basic, routine refurb for it, rather than an entire overhaul. I'm afraid they are going to ruin it. They haven't had a good track record with "plussing" attractions. Especially at Epcot. See Soarin' and TT.

Couldn’t agree more.
Original Soarin’ - fabulous. New Soarin’ - just okay.
Original TT - good. New TT - meh.
