@JenniferS , this is just an fyi, and chances are you may not use money orders anyway, between Canada and the U.S. However, below is an announcement which surprised me, from our USPS web site, dated Aug. 30 --

Money Orders between the USPS and Canada Post
As of August 30, 2019, The Postal Service® no longer sells international postal money orders destined for Canada and no longer cashes international postal money orders issued by Canada Post. Also, as of August 30, 2019, Canada Post no longer sells international postal money orders destined for the U.S. and no longer cashes international postal money orders issued by The Postal Service.

Next Steps
  • If you have a USPS® issued international postal money order destined for Canada, you can redeem it at a U.S. Post Office™ facility at face value.
  • If you received and have not yet cashed a Canada Post issued money order, it is advised that you return the money order to the sender.

Struck me odd as well. I'm curious. Political or something else? From the little I could find out about this, it was announced by USPS on the date that it ended, giving little notice to people who still had them. I think they still may be cashed at a bank, however, but I can't recall what the source was for that.

If it is recent it may be political, but it also might be because as of late the exchange rate has bounced around like a yo-yo. No one can do math anymore and cell phones aren't allow during work hours. Besides that kind of math requires decimal points in odd places, ain't no one got time for that.

I watched an episode of Blue Bloods and there were initials used by the police officers that I can't figure out. When they were referring to the gang members who deal in drugs and did a drive by shooting they called them A D Ts . I put it into Google and the question I'm asking comes up. It brings up the episode teaser that states in the storyline that the officers suspect the ADTs. Yet no matter how I phrase my question I can't get Mr. Google to reveal what those letters stand for. o_O20190905_214219.jpg20190905_214158.jpg

My coworker insists on putting her English muffin in the toaster and walking away. Every day she burns her English muffin. Every day. Today she burned it so badly that the stench is making my eyes and nose run and is burning my throat. The building maintenance workers were in the hallway and came in our office because they thought something was on fire. How much do you want to bet on Monday she continues to put her English muffin in the toaster and walk away?

🤬

Go to the toaster. Turn the switch that controls the heat, and lower the temperature. GLUE IN PLACE. No more burnt English muffins.
