I Googled “what to do with a cane while on rides at WDW”, and I didn’t like the answers, so I just bought a folding cane on Amazon. And toilet paper, because I was 58 cents short for free 2-day Prime delivery.
Cat litter and toilet paper are my go-to staples to “fill” my cart. You can never have too much of either. Assuming one has a cat, of course.

Me too! However, hear me out... I never got injured until I got old. You are younger though and perhaps you will heal more quickly.

Don't be silly! Your plans are not up in the air until you are on a plane headed south. Seriously, when were you going to be going? Even if it hits Florida it is supposed to be pretty much just a breeze by Monday night.
