Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I just watched a Tim Tracker video where he was at DHS showing updates, and he was inside a store. The background music was film music, particularly one that was featured in the final montage of TGMR. It really made me miss that ride, and it really made me miss the "movie making" feel to DHS.

Since they are just piecing things wherever now, they should have just opened a fifth gate and named it "Disney's Hodgepodge Adventure". It's so sad that themes are becoming less and less important to the parks.
Agree, and disagree. Disney does not need a fifth gate until DHS, AK, and to a lesser degree Epcot, are fully fleshed out.

MK is legit the only park that has a sufficient number of rides/attractions.

I was joking about the 5th park thing. I'm happy with four parks. Five might be too many for a week's vacation.

That is the prevailing opinion. Most families would not/cannot add extra time to their vacation, so a fifth gate would cannibalize the other four parks.

IoA is a mish mash park that pretty much works. I haven’t given up hope for DHS yet.

I'm not against it, and the reason why is because the crowds have increased, and that's just about all year long now. Having a 5th gate (as long as it was a well-themed, quality park) would help to spread out the crowds.

I'm still under the opinion that GE will be great, but they need to fix the existing pieces of the park (so pretty much everything but Sunset Blvd) soon after GE opens. Adding land after land will never truly fix the park until they fix what's just filler, because most of the park feels like "filler" attractions to me.

Sure, but realistically they don't want to, and won't, add another park to maintain and salaries to pay if it doesn't result in increased ticket sales. I, for one, don't believe it will add people just spread them out. The guys that make these decisions in many cases may not even have stepped foot in the parks, much less care how long lines are. Bottom line, bottom line, bottom line. Unless one is a millionaire or love massive debt cannot afford much more then one week.

Of course, they don't want to spend the money on another park. I was speaking as a park guest only, about what I would like to see done down there. (I'm also aware that ideas from park guests rarely get noticed, so I don't expect any changes to their SOP.)

It’s whine time.
I ripped my thumbnail off at Starbuckies yesterday ... way below the skin line, and it is absolutely throbbing!

I feel like Buddy the Elf.

Even worse, I had to gauze and bandage it for cushioning, so I’ll have an adhesive blister rash by this time tomorrow.

Went to CAA and paid off our Disney balance.
Figured I might as well go next door to the bank and grab some American $ for tips and whatnot.

$500 USD only set me back $674.50 CAD. 🙄

With having to pay for parking this year (which really irks me), I will be cutting waaay back on souvenirs. The kids do not really need any more t-shirts or sleep pants, and I already got a new Dooney in December.

No sad faces @MinnieM123 - this was actually a good day; and believe it or not, a not terrible exchange rate.

I cheap out on the strangest things, but I don’t object to spending my hard earned money at WDW - except for the parking.

I have a long history of objecting to paying for parking. Anywhere. It disgusts me that you have to pay for parking at a government run hospital, but that you can park for free at a government run casino. Somebody's priorities sure are messed up there.

@PUSH , I had a chuckle while watching Bloomberg TV this afternoon, at the 4:00 closing bell on Wall Street. Every day they have a different company (or sometimes even celebrities) up in that "galley" area (not sure of the exact name of it), and often the name of the company will be displayed.

However, today, they only had a huge banner up there -- it said , Shark Week!! HA! :D I never expected to see that!
