#1 - I am a night owl. Just finished studying a chapter, and am now catching up on Twitter before turning in.

#2 - Sad emoji because this means our international globe trotting is over.

Thank you, feeling a lot better today again. Had another shower and I feel like a million bucks. Auntie brought over some treats (Portuguese custard tarts), but I have resisted so far. Yay me!

Amazon has quite a few competitors this year, too. Nearly every major store is having online sales, with several having them in-store, too. Some stores that I know of: Walmart, Target, Michael's, Best Buy.

EDIT: I got mixed up on the time zones -- it's today (not yesterday) that your plane lands at 4:30 PM. :facepalm: Oh well, maybe think of my message above as an early "welcome back"?! :hilarious:

I've ordered 3 items so far. Two should be here Wednesday, one on Thursday. I feel like last year the Prime Day items came a day before they were supposed to, though. They probably have so many people working right now to keep up with demands.

I want outdoor Bluetooth speakers and wireless ear buds. I am not especially excited about anything I've seen so far but I haven't really looked that closely. Final payment to Disney is due Wednesday so I'm kinda a bit overwhelmed by my spending right now and not really interested in anything I don't absolutely need!

Recently retired, I'm being very conservative with money at the present time. However, one of my brothers sent me a $50 gift card from J C Penney last Christmas, and I got to use it today! :happy: There was an $80 pair of New Balance sneakers that I liked, and JCP had them $10 off. With my $50 gift card, I paid around $19 with the extra amount over 50, including the shipping, etc. So for $19 bucks, I got an $80 pair of sneakers!! (Not Amazon Prime Day for me, but I'm happy, regardless!) :D

I have spent the better part of two hours on the phone with my boss, and then preparing for tomorrow’s meeting with the builders.

Did any of this help me one bit with studying for Friday’s exam? No siree, Bob!

I think I’m just going to bite the bullet and take the practice exam this afternoon, and then make the call whether to write or postpone.

Again, this ridiculous deadline is 100% self-imposed. I have 501 days left to complete this third very intensive course and then the final three really quick ones. 🤦🏻‍♀️

But first, coffee and toast.

We are on the ground in NJ but there is another plane at our gate. We are stuck waiting our turn😉
