Guess who is also going to not be able to wear them when their toes get amputated after they freeze or at least when they put you in that padded room with your name on it. Remember no one ever plans on acquiring frostbite or what action will put it over the top when determining insanity. 😕;)

What Jennifer said. The radiology program is two years and would qualify me to be an X-ray technician. I can then go on for an additional year of school to specialize in things like MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, etc. I haven’t decided what I would like to specialize in yet.

This sounds like a good program you're enrolled in. Working in a hospital, I can tell you that x-ray, MRI, and CT techs are in demand, and a critical member of the medical team. Best of luck to you in your education.

It was raining when the evening started.
Only up north (2-3 hours up north) was supposed to get snow.

I was not the only one caught off guard. 🙁

Maybe you have to start with x-rays and then specialize. I’m pretty sure that’s how it works here.
I have no idea, but I like learning about stuff like that. I'm weird...I love learning about learning, if that makes sense. Or about how things work. And I always just assumed radiology was like the blanket term for any kind of technical thing in the medical field that requires radiation. So any kind of x-rays or scans or ultrasounds, or anything. I didn't know you could just pick one area of it to focus on.

A dad singing Ave Maria at the Grand Floridian. 😱

Wow, he's brave. I often see those pianos somewhere, where anyone can sit down and play and someone is playing, and I'm aching to sing whatever they are playing, but I don't dare. I'm always afraid what people will think....will they be thinking "What a show off!" or will they be thinking "Wow, she totally sucks!" or "I wonder if that's her profession or just something she does for fun..." I just never have the courage to do that.

As much as I like to think I don’t care what other people think of me there’s always situations like this where I avoid doing something because of just that.

What are jello lots? You sold 300--how much do they cost?
Little containers of Jello made with vodka (sometimes tequila) that are used as fun fundraisers at such events.

I would presume they are disgusting, but at a buck apiece, tables were buying them 10 at a time.

We had orange, cherry, and some purple (grape?) ones. Blue raspberry is everyone’s favourite, but the grocery store was out of blue raspberry Jello.

Oh, o.k. Now I know what you're talking about. I guess I was also confused about selling 300 -- but now that you've clarified that the sales are generally for fundraisers, it all makes sense now.

I don’t think you make a lot of money off them, but people tend to expect them at Buck and Does.

You have to have a special licence which costs $70, and they probably cost about 20-30 cents each to make (plus time and effort and mess), so it’s important not to get stuck with half of them leftover at the end of the evening.

I am a natural salesperson, plus I’m kind of bossy, so I am always the person of choice to flog these.

My severe limp was just the icing on the cake last night. 😉
