Ski feels like his fingertip is going to fall off on its own, before his Thursday appointment.
Apparently it feels “loose”. I’m sure it’s not going to happen, but just in case, I made the following offer: “Remember when your tooth was loose and all I needed to do was give it a good hard flick?”
His response was NSFW.

Unfortunately that’s what’s giving him hope.
They actually wanted to amputate at his last appointment, but he got light headed and nauseated and they had to lay him down, put a cold cloth on his forehead, and bring him apple juice.

I don't blame him....they had to take me out of the room last Summer when DS was pushed down on the playground and broke his wrist. It took SO long getting x-rays and then they sent us to get a cast put on and there was some sort of mix up where they thought we had already been seen, so we were there for hours and they had to rebreak the wrist to set it. I almost passed out...he did better than I did.Unfortunately that’s what’s giving him hope.

But if they amputated, he would be out for it, right? I mean....it's not just a local anesthetic procedure, right?
