Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Been a rough week here, between having our dog pass suddenly and finding out K's previously diagnosed sprain is actually a fracture, but we've tried to put a positive spin on the end of the week. Today I ordered some pretty memorial jewelry for me and the girls and ordered two new trees plus some flower seeds for the yard. It's going to be a lot of work and it'll probably be next year when we really see any flowering, but I can't wait for the butterflies and hummingbirds. :)

So sorry about your dog - that’s rough for anyone but are the kids ok? My daughter cried for a week when our dog passed. ☹️

A friend recommended a book that has helped with the kids (and the adults a bit too). We've been encouraging them to embrace their grief and even put pen to paper and look for nice ways to memorialize her. She was fine Saturday, gravely ill Sunday, and gone Monday...so, I think that's part of why it's hit us all so hard.

Thankfully it’s going to be somewhat warm here because my boiler is broken and they need to order a new control panel so I’ve had no heat or hot water since yesterday.
