Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Not going to see MPR after all.
Auntie called in tears on her way to the vet. She thinks her dog has had a stroke. Hopefully just a seizure of some sort.

Bentley is a pretty cool dog. He’s been to Africa multiple times, and has a real love/hate relationship with a certain monkey that lived in a tree in Auntie’s yard. Also, being part poodle, despite his size, he does not trigger my selective phobia. Whenever he barks at me, I chastise him and say, “I don’t bark at you. Kindly repay the favour.”

Anyway, saying prayers for Bentley.

What nice pictures showing the love they have for Bentley and his love for them, too. I hope Bentley will be o.k. (I love dogs.)

Sad news. He’s only got a few hours/day or two at most. Hemangiosarcoma tumour that has already ruptured. Death will be swift and painless.

Auntie has brought him home. I wouldn’t have done so, but everyone handles things their own way. No way is completely right or wrong.

She has three people there right now, but wants me to come when they leave. She has held countless dying babies in her arms back when she was running the orphanage, but she doesn’t want to be alone when Bentley goes. I get it.

Sorry to be a bummer. 🙁

Oh, that's sad. But it's good that you're around, so that she doesn't have to be alone when Bentley passes away.

Yeah, or Bentley can pass long before I get there. That would be better.

Aunt Jan is curled up on the couch with him, and says she’s not moving until he’s gone. That’s not good for her.

Her daughter can’t get anyone to cover her shift for tomorrow (she’s in healthcare), but should be able to come down on Friday.

Here's something that no one sane will care about, but I do. ;)

For as long as I can remember, Barnum's Animal Crackers were packaged like this:

I like those little boxes with circus animals, with the string handle. So, you could walk around town, holding your box of animal crackers, like you were carrying a purse. :D

Last weekend, I was at the grocery store, and here is how they were packaged: :cautious:

A bag! A FREAKING BAG display! :banghead: This is unacceptable.

You’d think those animals could escape easily out of a bag! I’m with you - boxes!!!

Who thinks JenniferS is going to regret coming home at 1:00 am and eating 2/3 of a large panzerotto?

ETA - Panzerotto is akin to a calzone, usually fried, although this was one was baked. (Not that that’s going to help one bit with the heartburn.)

PS - Bentley was still with us when I left.
We rearranged the living room furniture and brought a loveseat over to the couch so Auntie could stretch out without having to disturb the dog.

My fervent prayer is that he lasts until at least 8:00 am, as that is when the vet office re-opens. 🙏🏻
