A specialist looked at Ski’s x-rays and made the executive decision that he has to come to the Hand and Upper Limb Centre on Monday.
The telephone message said that it is a very busy clinic, to bring a book and a snack, and to be prepared to wait.
I said to Ski - I guess they don’t know you that well. You can’t read and you don’t eat.
He didn’t think I was funny.

How is he handling the pain? I suppose it is good that is seeing a specialist right away.

Hugs to Ski -- I hope he'll be o.k.
It was 56 here this morning and 53 when I was heading home from work. The winds have picked up now and they are saying 23 overnight with a high of 26 tomorrow. 5 years ago yesterday it was -21 in Green Bay. That was not a fun morning to try and start a pickup truck...

I suggested he put on a swimsuit and I would come wash his hair. He declined my offer, and now regrets it.

Two words - block heater.
Yeah, the battery was dead. I had to put a booster on it and by the time I got it fired up, I couldn’t bend any of the cables or I would have split all the insulation off of them.

So... Over the weekend I noticed our local Kroger had already started selling their Easter goods, only a few days into the new year.
@JenniferS noticed the same activity while at a Pilot station.
Well, tonight the chronicles continue, as Wal-Mart has officially joined in on the fun.
At this rate, I'd better start putting my tree back up.

He tolerates them from Aunt Jan. In fact, he seems to magically appear every time just as she is leaving.He doesn’t like hugs. Found that out the hard way. I felt like Penny with Sheldon.
