Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

You're very kind, and I had an absolute blast spending the day with you both.
However, we all know it isn't my park by any means, but rather that of the legendary singer, songwriter, and entertainer herself...
Miss Lillian, of course. :inlove:

Miss Lillian is a hoot. She managed to embarrass my 8 and 10 year old grandkids almost to death while they were eating. I don't even remember what she did, but, I thought that any minute they were going to crawl under the table. They got over it. She was funny and quite entertaining.

My bus driver dropped me off at the station yesterday, and lowered the bus step/platform to the ground, so that I wouldn't have to step down to the sidewalk. I must be looking quite decrepit these mornings . . .:p
I hated kneeling the bus, especially in the winter. I would try and find a curb and pull very close to it so it was just a 2 inch step down. The problem was that Ice Crystals would form in the air lines blocking them and sometimes they wouldn't come back up. When lowered they lock up the brakes automatically and the bus couldn't move or sometimes it would come back up but not stop where they were supposed to and it filled the airbags full which left the bus feeling like it had no suspension at all. But, I'm sure if you aren't "one of those passengers" he just did it to be courteous. I know I never really tried of gauge by age, more by physical dexterity. There's nothing scarier then having one of those airbags burst and having the bus drop down to the axle while traveling along the street. It sounds like an explosion.

I had a person that rode my shuttle bus at the Airport a couple years ago that screamed at me because I didn't lower the bus. Even after I explained to her that the type of buses we had for shuttle did not have that feature in any of them so the only way I could lower the bus was to let the air out of the tires. (the last part I was saying to myself) Didn't stop her from complaining all the way back to the Rental location and then told the manager that I was to lazy to "push the button" to lower the bus. She never did accept that there wasn't one on the bus at all.

Question, @JenniferS . The doubletree....was breakfast included? We just booked a room at the doubletree by seaworld for the part of our trip between Disney and Universal, but the website didn't say anything about whether breakfast was included, but I know you posted pictures from breakfast there. Not a big deal if it's not included....I just wondered. But your room looked so nice, when I saw that on the list on trivago and it was one of the cheapest options, I said "Yes, please!".

Breakfast is only free until 9:30.
After that, when the restaurant is slammed, it’s still very reasonably priced - with a 20% discount to boot.

We decided to sleep in. We both opted for the buffet. Mike had two plates and a plate of fruit.

Housekeeping is just finishing up our room, so we are enjoying the sunshine on the communal balcony. This may be my last dose of Vitamin D for a few months, so I am totally loving it.
We are near 50 today! It's amazing. Feels like spring!

Gotta love customer service roles, huh? When I worked the front desks at the residence halls at college, it was move-in week and this woman came to the desk asking how to turn on the air conditioning. I explained that the residence halls were not equipped with AC. She proceded to rip me up one side and down the other, because I wouldn't tell her how to turn it on, and was I such an idiot that I didn't know, she wanted to see a manager. The manager told her the same thing I did...we don't have AC. She says "I went to school here in the 60s! They had AC then! What did they do? Take it out of the whole place?" We told her they must have because we don't have AC. The thing is it's Wyoming...and it's a University....not many people stay in the Summer, and it snows 9 months out of the year...they probably didn't see a huge need for AC, and she must have been remembering it incorrectly because there was never any AC. But she was calling us morons and causing a scene, yelling at us as other people are moving in, because she's determined we just don't want to tell her how to turn it on. What I really wanted to say was "Well....you went here, so if you have a college education and can't figure out how to turn on the AC, how do you expect ME, a lowly undergrad, to know how?"

People are idiots.

Depends on your Hilton Honors level.
Silver and up, I think?!?

I’m not Jennifer. But breakfast at doubletree hotels is not included...unless you booked some sort of bed and breakfast rate.
