Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
@Eric1955, when you were living in Ottawa, did you notice that Canadians by and large, do not wear shoes indoors? Slippers perhaps, but never our actual outdoor shoes.

(This is kind of a carry over from a previous discussion elsewhere, wherein I was branded a bumpkin for removing my shoes indoors.)

Hey @Goofyernmost - is that you in your avatar, with one of your babies?
Two comments - beautiful baby; and by Jove, you people really do wear shoes indoors. Hunh!
Yup... 1974. She was 6 months old at the time. (I had her chewing on her foot) However, the question of shoes just came up and I am shocked. Of course, we wear shoes inside, we aren't uncivilized savages, eh!
I just realized that I was only 26 years old in that picture.

I know ... the old shoe debate. I love it.

Actually, I did notice that. The first time a family from church invited me over to their house they asked me to take off my shoes when I came into their house. That was the first time I had ever been asked to to that.

It doesn't seem unusual to me though. I always take my shoes off as soon as I get home.
