It's been raining all day here. And by raining, I mean steady. No breaks for a mist or sprinkle, a steady, consistent rain. For about half the day, I would qualify it as a downpour. It was the rainiest, windiest drive home I've had from work. Needless to say, everything around here is flooding.

We had the coldest day today since April something or other.

In Cananadianese, we juuuuuust reached double digits. High of 10C, which is 50 to you.

And a week tomorrow (the day after Turkey Day), we’re expected to be above 80 again.

I missed the first episode apparently, but I’m currently watching the Magnum PI reboot. Mike watched the first few minutes with me, but said he just couldn’t because some things cannot be duplicated.

Mike - Hey look, it’s Chubbs.
Me - Who?
Mike - The one handed guy from Happy Gilmore.
Me - You mean freakin’ APOLLO CREED?

He doesn’t often embarrass me, but geesh.
Carl Weathers is freakin’ APOLLO CREED ... not some character from one of the bad Adam Sandler movies.

In fairness, I haven't watched the reboot yet. However, just from the few promos I've seen, none of the characters come close to the original cast members.

I always thought Magnum was such a well cast, well written show. I admired the fact that they portrayed a handsome leading man with a certain vulnerability -- he didn't always get things right the first time, etc. I think that was a big draw for both the male and female audiences. Higgins, T.C. and Rick rounded out a believable assortment of personalities in this group.

I think Tom Selleck does great acting in Blue Bloods! Anybody like the show Blue Bloods? Various prior seasons are on Netflix.

@NYwdwfan , I hope the bad weather predictions pass by your area. I heard on the news tonight about Pennsylvania, New York and up to Connecticut with some tornado watches (at least one hit in PA).

That being said, yay! Toys R Us has cancelled bankruptcy plans and is reviving the brand.
