That's a big thing in the town I live in. There are flocks of sheep that are herded from one area to another all over town. Someone sets up a temporary net-like fence, the sheep graze that area, and then at the end of the day, the fence is rolled up and they move the sheep to the next place. DS LOVES sheep...they are his favorite animal, and one of the places in the rotation is right behind his school. So when the sheep are in that field, he says hi to the sheep as we bike home...it's really sweet.
There's also a nature park a few blocks from our house and they have Highland cattle that graze in the park instead of mowing. Last year, they had one they had to put down because it kept escaping the park somehow and it got aggressive. Mostly, they ignore people walking through the park, but they will follow you if they smell food, and I guess this one figured out how to get out....like, he wasn't afraid of the cattle guards, so he would cross over them and charge people. But for the most part, it works well. They don't have to pay for landscaping, and it remains natural but not unkempt.

For the first time in years, I am at a minor league baseball game. This is the Class A league. The team is affiliated with the Philadelphia Phillies. The Lakewood Blue Claws. The game should have started by now but it rained earlier. Just killin' time by posting with you fine folks.

Thank you Jennifer and Nemo for giving my post a "like". These macho manly men should be playing by now. It rained for 15 minutes at 5pm. Now this 7:05 pm game has not started yet and it is approaching 8pm. Come on and PLAY BALL!!

I had to go back and actually count the Canadianisms.
Counting each “screen” as singular, irrespective of how many words appeared, I counted 26.

I listened to the entire thing. I opted to come to THIS thread instead of my usual one because I knew there would be a Toronto Blue Jays fan who could relate to my situation.

I knew most of them but I didn’t count. Some from watching hockey (and hockey night in Canada), some from hanging out with you and Mike and most from Bob & Doug.

Wow.....how ironic! Thanks again for keeping me company. This game was my daughter's idea. Her HS friend will be singing the National Anthem....sometime before midnight I'm sure

My kids elementary school 4th/5th grade chorus sang the anthem at our local minor league stadium - they are 2 school years apart so I had 4 straight years of it. It was always a fun night with most of the school in the stands.Wow.....how ironic! Thanks again for keeping me company. This game was my daughter's idea.
